I’m awake at 7+ am on an off-day….
On my right is my Bro Jem Quek who is in his dreamland…..
Ha ha…. I doubt he has any idea that I’m talking about him… Ha ha..
Well… Let me just summarize one sentence about him.
A simple person with a great heart for God and people.
Let’s talk about the weekend shall we?

Personal Budgeting was insightful…
Our Adults are simply amazing, aren’t they?
After a long day of work, he still came down to teach us about how to plan our daily Finances and for long term - Our Wedding, House, Cars etc….
Being a non-PR foreigner in Singapore, I do not have the “coveted” CPF…
Hence, I need to be more deliberate in my savings.
I’m just grateful that I am fit and healthy to serve God, have a relatively exciting job….. ( But of course, life can only get MORE exciting, hey?) and doing the things that I enjoy.
CIC was not just for the new friends, new integrations or new regulars.
I needed this as well. HoGC is MY HOME….
Glad that I didn’t choose to go to any other Aussie Uni…..
Imagine if I would have chosen to go to the other more prestigious ANU, Melbourne or Sydney and do my Business Degree there, I would have missed out SO SO much as I would probably graduate like now (Feb 2011 or Mar 2011).
Anyway, work experience is so much more valuable in this world….
Soft skills are extremely important as well….
And what better church to be at rather than HoGC?
I’m glad to see people starting to catch the heart….
A generation whose hearts is totally for God!

Have faith in people…. This is one of the quote I heard from someone.
Sometimes, people are just not ready yet. When they are, they’ll just grow….
Give them time, attention and nurture them, because in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Skills are good, but Values, heart are so much more important…. W/o Pastors’ teaching on values, I might still be quite lost, chasing after knowledge and skills… Climbing on the wrong side of the ladder…
Pastor How’s sermon is the highlight of the weekend, for sure.
Then Martin’s testimony was out of the World. Many hearts challenged.
Character -> Competency -> Chemistry… In this order folks.
